Darts are not the only hobby I have had, electroplating has been my hobby for much longer. This allows surfaces to be coated and refined electrochemically, e.g. with chrome, silver, gold, palladium. If you combine darts with refinement and laser engraving, you have a wide range of options and beautiful, individual darts. With the darts, it is primarily a visual thing! But it also brings better properties in technical terms, such as abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, conductivity, etc... hence "refinement".

Electroplating is a very satisfying, uncomplicated process using commercially available electrolytes without any special or expensive tools. No acids, alkalis, fumes. Easy for anyone to learn and do.
